Development has been a widely used concept since World War 2 and has attracted
a lot of attention from thinkers, researchers, and policy makers alike. Given
the widespread influence of globalization, development issues are mainly debated
taking into account this process.
In this context, the conference Globalization and Policies of Development explores
the development challenges of our time brought about by globalization, with
a view to providing a fresh perspective on the relationship between globalization
and development, facilitating knowledge sharing among researchers and thinkers,
producing relevant knowledge in the field of development policy making and implementation.
